Remove Mouse Acceleration - How to use noforce commands in CS 1.6 and Counter-Strike CZ

Noforce commands basically are for disabling mouse acceleration in counter strike 1.6 / source, its on by default even if enhance pointer precision option is turned off.

To disable it you must use the noforce commands.
1. Open control panel and open mouse properties.
2. Uncheck 'Enhance pointer precision' option in pointers tab. Dont worry, it wont degrade any precision of pointer or something, this option is meant only for low DPI mice back some years.

3. Click apply and ok.
4. Open steam, goto games list, right click on the Counter Strike 1.6 and select properties.

5. Click on set launch options button and in the text field type this
-noforcemparms -noforcemaccel
6. Click on ok, and run the game.
7. For non-steam users create a shortcut of hl.exe and in its properties put -noforcemparms -noforcemaccel just after 1 space (after double quotes) in the target field.

Tip about mouse acceleration:

Mouse acceleration should not be turned on while gaming, its not good in gaming, as you can miss the targets easily, specially in First-Person-Shooter games like Counter-Strike 1.6, Quake 3 Arena etc. It can be turned off by unchecking the "Enhance Pointer Precision" in control panel, but in some games its on by default, like Counter Strike 1.6.

  2. for non steam you will first have to create a shortcut of hl.exe on desktop and then goto its properties and in the target field add one space at the end after double quotes and type this

    -game cstrike -noforcemparms -noforcemaccel

so it would look like "C:\Program Files....\hl.exe" -game cstrike -noforcemparms -noforcemaccel

  7. well. actually there is no way to 100% turn off the cstrike acceleration. i tried all the commands possible as well as some other mouse fix software. it can be turned off when ur cstrike is not running. while cstrike is running, at main menu, its still possible to turn it off. but when the game starts, its back to ON again doesn't matter what u do. while in game, not only aiming and turning fast causes ur mouse speed to accelerate, slow mouse movement does hv some accel too. that's the result i got for benchmarking cstrike mouse movement for months. u will know if u hv dual monitors as well as a tool called Mouse Movement Recorder. so, what to do. just live with it.
